Author Bio

Colonel DeDe Halfhill, USAF (Ret.), spent twenty-five years in the most consequential rooms in the Department of Defense. She served as the principal communications advisor to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Chief of Staff of the Air Force, deployed twice to Iraq, led communications for the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, and drove a nuclear-capable bomber base to the number one installation in the Air Force.

What sets her apart is her conviction that the human side of leadership was never soft. It was mislabeled and deprioritized in the name of scale and standardization. DeDe dismantles that mislabel using evidence the skeptics can't dismiss, and teaches leaders to read the human dynamics in their organization with the same rigor they bring to every other system they run.

She’s been featured on CBS's 60 Minutes and in Dr. Brené Brown's Dare to Lead. Today, DeDe is a keynote speaker and founder and CEO of TAIOH Partners.
