Lisa Moguel
Author, Serial Entrepreneur, Photographer, Financial Feminist

Author Bio
Lisa Moguel has never been very good at staying in her lane—and that’s worked out pretty well.
A serial entrepreneur, financial feminist, professional sponsored photographer, and former President of the Zonta Club of Austin, Lisa spent three decades building businesses and uncovering opportunities others miss. Commercial real estate taught her to read the numbers, and to notice how many women stay in jobs they’ve outgrown just to keep the paycheck and benefits.
That’s the cost behind what Lisa calls Borrowed Leadership: Organizations lean on experienced women for their wisdom, then overlook them for advancement, until financial dependence is the only thing keeping them in the room.
Lisa’s mission: help organizations recognize the value of experience before they lose it, and help women build enough financial ground to never wait for permission to leave.
“Turns out my real superpower was never selling. It was seeing people.”
